Neurodiversity refers to the different ways our brains are wired and process information. The term neurodivergent is often used to describe alternative thinking styles such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Dyscalculia.

Approximately 1 in 7 people are estimated to be neurodivergent (ACAS, 2016). According to CIPD (2024), 33% of neurodivergent individuals report that their workplace experiences negatively impact their mental well-being. Additionally, around 20% state that their neurodivergence has adversely affected their job performance, intention to remain with their employer, and likelihood of recommending their employer to others (19%).
